I’m Jeff Self, a photographer with a love for sports, portraits, wildlife, landscapes, and the in-between moments that make a place or day memorable.

I am a MaxPreps sports photographer, and a lot of my recent work has come from covering games, action, and the energy around high school sports. Alongside that, I also enjoy making images that feel a little more personal, whether that is a family session, a senior portrait, wildlife encounter, or a scene from the road.

This site brings those pieces together in one place: selected portfolio work, blog posts, and a home for the kinds of photographs I want to keep sharing.

Photography has become both a way to document the energy of a moment and a way to slow down long enough to notice it. That is really what this site is for: a place to share the work that still feels worth holding onto.
